I’ve been working with JM Kitchen & Bath in Denver for over 10 years now. When I first started working with them they had a Frontpage website done in Frames! For you non-geeky folks out there that’s REALLY Bad!! Pretty much invisible to any search engines.
JMKB WEBSITE MAKEOVER PROJECT
I worked with a designer I had met in my classes at ACC and we designed and SEO’d what was at the time the prettiest, coolest custom kitchen & bath shop website in Denver. It served JM well for many years and did very well in the search engines. For the last year or so the owner and I agreed it needed a facelift. We wanted to retain the unique quality that people liked about the current website while incorporating the more modern web 2.0 features like an RSS feed, social media integration, sleeker navigation and more of everyone’s favorite element of the old website … the slideshows.
The number one page on the old website was the kitchen gallery and the before and after …
The owner worked with talented graphic designer & artist Dennis Wright from Boulder to come up with the updated logo look and new branding. It still incorporates lots of black so that element of the website remained but the older style wood toned backgrounds on all the pages needed to change to a crisp white to offset all the black. You’ll see the main page looks much like the favorite pages from the old website and doesn’t resemble the older main page at all, while the interior pages look completely different.
The new WordPress platform website is much more mobile friendly with easier to read font sizes and easy to find navigation and clickable phone number. The ability for prospective clients to ask questions, comment on their favorite kitchens and schedule a free consultation are also easily found with the new design. I also worked (continue to work) with website architect Darin Swick to make sure the website is designed to bring in new clients for JMKB. Visit their new kitchen & bath photo galleries to see the amazing work their designers do.
One of their designers “Paul Preister” and I are personal friends and have known each other and sung together for 20+ years so I highly recommend him. He turned one of the least attractive houses in The Pinery into a spectacular one of a kind beautiful custom home using his amazing abilities. Call 303-688-8279 and ask for Paul.. tell him Chrissy sent you.
