Everyone out in internet land wants to make a million dollars on the web… right?
MUCH easier said than done…
One of the ways I’ve made at least a fraction of that with some success is through affiliate marketing. There are several popular and well known affiliate companies that I’ve dealt with and you can explore the links below.
What is Affiliate Marketing? Simply put it allows you to promote and sell other people and companies products on your website and earn a commission. Companies that are vendors on affiliate marketing websites range in size from Target and Sears to a small independent artist selling their drawings of pets. There are literally millions of products you can promote on your website and earn a small commission.
What’s great for you is that you don’t ever deal with the actual customer, the delivery or any other aspect of the sale. It’s like a lead fee for getting the company a new client.
One that I recently joined is Affiliate Window. So far I really love how friendly and informative the affiliate managers and the vendors are. They contact you personally and are happy to answer any questions and Pet360 even sent me an infographic to use on my pet blog Pooch & Claws.
If you click on either the link above or the graphic to the right to join Affiliate Window it’s a three way win. I earn a little commission, the affiliate company gains a new publisher and you are connected to an additional way to make income from your website or blog.
Other popular affiliate marketing companies I’m a member of include:
- Commission Junction (aka CJ)
- Share a Sale
- Amazon (Only available in some states)
- LInk Share – This program has a couple of the big boys in it including Walmart & Kohl’s.
Each of them has their pro’s and con’s and you can read more about that by searching for affiliate marketing reviews.
Be sure to include an affiliate disclosure according to FCC Rules and Amazon has it’s own disclosure.
